After two long years of living in an old drafty house with an enormous garden, the city is going to demolish my home!

Goodbye fig trees, goodbye my dear mulberry tree!
Goodbye spring afternoons with tea in the garden!

*wipes tears*

Now I am looking for a stupid flat! I've heard nightmare stories about emlakı! Can someone help me out?

Yaramaz....I seem to remember you knew a good one.

I work in Şişli these days...not sure I want to live there...but maybe a little nicer place nearby.

Sad

Try Ozanay at Royal Consulting Company in Nisantasi. She is lovely, located approximately across from Remzi kitabevi in that main, curved street (Rumeli?). She found my flat and has been fabulously helpful-- however, a lot of the flats she deals with are expensive. Mine was a cheap Pangalti anomaly.

Good luck. Sorry about your loss!
