|
|
All righty! After reading all the info on Visas, I find my sitution unique, so here it is:
I arrived in Taiwan and was stamped with a 30-day visa. Did not have to apply for it, so this might be a new thing. I am Canadian but arrived via Seoul.
Now that I have found a job, I wish to extend my 30-day Visa for two weeks while I sort out some paper work. Is this possible? I invite all to pose various scenarios and in a hurry! My Visa expires on Nov. 4.
Also, do I have to go to Taipei to apply for an extension or is there something closer to Chiayi? |

Landing visas cannot be extended. You will most proably need to make a visa run. Call or visit the closest the Foreign Affairs Police office and ask.
Good Luck,

I am pretty sure that Aristotle is right on this. Visas are something that Aristotle has a very good knowledge of! |
