Hi everyone!
Does anyone have any suggestions for getting summer work (in EFL)?

Thanks.

Where?

What type?

What are your credentials/experienc?

Bear in mind that flying is expensive, and coupled with setup costs, you may face the distinct possibility that you are barely breaking even if at all with such short-term work. Then there is the visa issue. Who sponsors such a short-term visa? Nobody where I live (Japan). You'll practically have to give notice the day you start work.

Check with your university to see if they have any overseas connections for summer camp assistance. That's all I can tell you.

There are summer camps out there. I did one in China several years ago. There are also ads (some, I believe, running now on the jobs page here) for Vietnam. Also Korea.

I second Glenski's warning about the costs. You will likely get room and board plus a salary, but if you have to pay your own airfare you may end up losing money like I did in China.

The shortest I got answered was a possibility to be amployed for 6 months. I declined for I have a career here, all I need is to 'kill' June and July. Others required more information about me but no reply came yet. So, no luck for me yet Sad
