hi all!
Can anyone recommend good travel/backpacker insurance?
I'm going to Ethiopia, Tanzania, then have a working holiday visa for Australia. I've not decided where to go next but probably S.Korea for a proper contract. I'll be away for probably 2 years if not more.
I've had STA travel Insurance before (which seemed comprehensive but charged wear and tear for things that I know many other companies wouldn't). It's also most certainly not the cheapest. It can cover you for over a year which many can't. It's mainly personal belongings cover I need as I have a habit of getting robbed/losing things in bars etc. I need laptop cover too...
Sorry, that's a lot of info, but any recommendations would be much appreciated.

| I've used http://www.hthworldwide.com/ twice, once for seven months and once for two months...never had to actually USE it, so can't help you there. Otherwise, no problems. |

I only take out evacuation insurance for my travels...
perhaps there will be some good info. on the Thorn Tree?
