Hello,
I am looking to go to Costa Rica the beginning of April. I am Certified and currently volunteering to gain some experience. I dont have a degree and it seems like this is one of the main qualifications. Is there any schools that will accept someone without a degree? I have been thinking about going and applying in person, but I also dont want to be left out in the cold. Any suggestions would be a great help! Even for other parts of Latin America. I am going for more of the experience than the money, but I also dont want to come home broke.
Thanks in advance for the help!

If you don't have a degree, don't apply to the major schools because they all want degrees. If you find some of the smaller lesser known schools, You can get in no problem and work under the table. If you don't want to come home broke then I would highly suggest tutoring on the side. I have met potential students right of the bar before in San Jose. If you don't want to tutor on the side, then it will be very very hard not coming come broke because I here Costa Ricans bitching every day about only making $300 or $400 a month. The only way to make decent money down here is by working in a sports book, selling real estate or working as a telemarketer for a call center or owning a business.
