Its absolutely lovely outside...and still snowing. I woke up early to take advantage of my Kar Tatil and walked all over taking photos as its a hobby of mine. Got some great photos to add to my collection of Turkey Snow daze. Its something like hissedet -10 outside... and if this continues. Perhaps tomorrow will be a snow holiday too.

This place is so beautiful all covered in white.

Cool

It reminds me how far behind things are here.

I mean come on:

Plow

Salt

And lets get going already!

Thank goodness in these days of global warming it is a rarity.

"plow"? Do you mean "plough"?

(I'm sorry - I do know what you mean and I appreciate that there is a difference between American and British spelling, usually with logic on the side of the Americans. However I looked at the word [sounding it in my head something like "plov" - a la Germanic] before I twigged!)

Anyway, a "plough" or a "plow" is surely different (ie agricultural) to a "snow-plough" or "snow-plow". I would have understood sooner had you written it thus!

Wow... you are something.

Since you seem to be such a student of the English language I would like to bring to your attention that controversial word is:

snow plow or snow plough or snowplow or snowplough but not
snow-plough or snow-plow (You see you don't need the hyphen, it isn't that complex a term.)

Also, the topic was Istanbul Snow, if you could not infer that I was writing about a snow plow or snow plough or snowplow or snowplough than perhaps you should focus a bit more on reading comprehension and not spelling and grammar.

Cheers.
