I'm thinking of switching from the South Korean public school system to the Taiwanese public school system. What are the public schools in Taiwan like? I've heard that they pay roughly $2000 USD a month and provide free housing; is this true? How much is it possible to save up per month on public school wages if one is thrifty? How many teaching hours per week? Working conditions?
Any advice/info/amusing anecdotes are very welcome. |

Hi PeterDragon,
I worked with the Taiwan Ministry of Education. I am having a discussion with Sandy on her thread "MOE Jobs in Taiwan."

Read her questions and my answers for your response. |
