I was offered a position with this company. Haven't been given the full details on what part of the country I will be in yet or exactly what the pay will be. I would appreciate it if anyone had anything to say about it before I give them my answer.

Sorry! I really have nothing constructive to say, but I couldn't resist! I'm working in the region, and I do know that Yemen has the reputation among the locals of being somewhat dangerous because of the relative poverty. They describe crime, they say violent crime, rather than ideological violence. But my informants come from what is a very peaceful region for the most part, because of relative affluence. So perhaps Yemen is no more violent than, say, poor sections of Paris, London, or Los Angeles.

Yes....MALI is the Modern American Language Institute in Yemen. The largest language school in Yemen and a great place to teach and see that part of the ME.
