Hi--
I am moving to Thailand in April for a teaching position.
I was wondering if its worth it to lug my labtop to the country.
Are there places where you can access wi-fi?

There are lots of wi-fi hotspots in Thailand these days. Click on the Master Index Thailand sticky post (located directly above this post) and then scroll down to Part 3. When you get to Part 3, scroll down to the photo of the internet cafe and click on that photo. When that page pops up, look at the left navigation bar and click on the city you're interested in for a list of the wi-fi hotsposts in that particular city or town.

Also, this is REAL NICE list of FREE wifi hotspots all over Thailand!!! I used it in Phuket and it was VERY helpful and accurate!!! It even had my small guesthouse listed!!!

I am also going to Thailand in April. Are you going through a program called TEFL international? If so, what city are you going to?

Pamalis--Yes I am going to take the TEFL course in Ban Phe. Is that where you are going?
