If I have a TEFL certificate and no college degree, would my chances of getting a job in CR be greatly diminished compared to my chances if I had a degree? I just want to get out of the US as soon as I can... |

It is my understanding that the good schools all require a college degree. I really believe you would be better served to get your degree first. |

I agree with jprimm, get an education before you come to Costa Rica. It's worth more in the long run. |

On a general basis, yes, go for an education (not social anthropology though, it sucks : ). But you won't need one to get a job there, as long as you have good presentation. And, of course, you probably won't be able to get stable, well-paying jobs without at least a BA. |
