I have read several posts in this forum and in Saigon ESL, all have been helpful in one or several regards concerning the actual physical process of moving documents through the bureaucratic systems of authentications and, thank you very much.
However what is never very clear to me is - exactly which documents - require authentication.
Therefore I am gleaning - assuming - the only documents requiring authentication are:
* The FBI Background Check and,
* Certificates of professional expertise and skills i.e., university degrees, and, certificates such as TEFL, CELTA, etc., etc., issued by a foreign entity (other than VN).
Could someone please confirm my assumptions and/or tell me more specifically if and what I am missing?
Now a second question: I will be taking my CELTA in HCMC and the certificate will be issued by an entity operating within VN. Can this certificate be notarized and authenticatd (or the acceptable VNese equivalent) locally, or, do I have to send this certificate through all the Stateside US bureaucracies as well?
Thanks much to any and all.
