Hi all.
This is more of a belated update, but some of you might remember back in July, when i had a school that refused to pay me properly at the end of the contract (unusual in China only because the school was run by North Americans) - the original discussion is at http://www.eslcafe.com/forums/job/viewtopic.php?t=3573&postdays=0&postorder=asc&start=0

We had quite a discussion here, and elsewhere, generally concluding that the school was being arsy and wrong, but that if they'd worded the contract differently they might have been right.

Anyway, I did, with the support of a lot of other ex-teachers from there, end up writing a full report on my time there - the school's morally, legally, and professionally questionable activited, and sending it (and a summary) to various local and national authorites, and websites, etc. Some have actually responded, helpfully.

I've just remembered I never posted it here, for the two or three people that might actually be interested. Thanks. I was searching most of the efl/esl websites I know amd a few have boards for such things - but most only accepted my one-page summary. Englishschoolwatch actually emailed to ask for the full report (the summary is on Dave's job information journal as well, an the update is somewhere in the ether being considered)

Someone on the yahoo chinajobs list put me onto englishschoolwatch.
