I have the TEFL to teach adults but am thinking of doing the YL extension course to teach in an anaokul legally. Does anyone know if I really need to do the YL extension to get Milli Egitim approval? Plus, if I do, has anyone ever done one online? I have loads of experience teaching kids so I'm not worried about the hands on part but I see no point in doing a course for $175 and getting a worthless certificate at the end.

PS Does anyone know if it's true that if you work part time in a Milli Egitim anaokul you don't need a work permit, just for Milli Egitim approval. Seems too easy somehow |
