I've just returned from my local doctor's surgery where they gave me a combined Hep A and typhoid vaccination and the first course of the Hep B vaccination. The second and third courses of Hep B vaccination are administered in 7 and 21 days time respectively. But there's a problem... I'll already be in Vietnam in 21 days time. Whoopsie! So a warning to all: make sure you get your vaccinations done in plenty of time! And thus a question from me...
Are there any English speaking clinics in HCM that administer vaccinations and will be able to give me my third shot of the Hep B vaccine?
Also, my nurse told me I should consider taking anti-malarials. I don't think I'll bother, but I will sort myself out with mosquito repellent. I assume this is readily available in HCM? Or should I stock up before I get there?
Thanks, as always. |
