I have applied for teaching positions in European summer camps that teach EFS/ESL.
In an interview this morning, the recruiter said that there are no textbooks at their school, only a resource center. The teacher is responsible for assembling and photocopying any instructional materials they need for their classes. Classes last an hour and a half, there are two a day with an option to teach a third alternate weeks.
My question is, is this the usual way these summer camps operate with no assigned books or other materials for the teacher to use?

You are an entertainer and as such you should have your own acts ready. What you need to find out is do you have access to photocopying. How much will they allow you to copy per student per class? Are your classrooms fitted with TVs and DVD players etc?
You also need to get an idea of the age and ability of your students. Class size will also effect what teaching method you can use.
