Hola all.
I'm currently working in Guadalajara Mx. and have Costa Rica in my sights. I'm thinking of visiting during the upcoming vacation week of 'semana santa', which is march 17 through the 24th.
I'm wondering if anyone knows if they celebrate in Costa Rica during this same time. I would like to come when the schools are open.. |

| Yes, I think those would be the dates. I can't say for certain, though. I'll ask my girlfriend and post her reply to you. |

| There is only one "semana santa" it is the week that ends in Easter. |

March 17 through the 24th are the correct dates. The public schools are closed on the business days that fall between those weeks.
Costa Rican beaches will be crowded... |

| Yes Semana Santa falls from March 17 - 21. Yet, only Thursday and Friday are actual legal holidays. So you might get lucky and call offices of schools before Thursday March 20 to check out what they have to offer. |
