I have checked previous posts and there is next to nothing about this place, ADVETI. Abu Dhabi Vocational Education Training Institute. I know that it is an Australian, NSW TAFE collaboration and I was wondering if anyone knows what the salary, benefits and atmosphere is like? Hope someone can help.
Thanks. |

I heard that the starting wage is 20,000 Dhs per month for English Teachers. Haven't heard about other benefits. |

Thankyou for that Nomel. Because there isn't much of a response...I am a bit worried. Is it a great place to work or.......not? I am looking at several places in the UAE and this organisation seems to be very quiet? Does anyone have anymore information?
Thanks. |

Generally they only hire from existing teachers at the Australian end.
Don't reply to anyone already here.
Various interesting scandals, but good pay and accommodation if you come over from Aus. |

Various interesting scandals, you say. I saw a scandal once. It belonged to a German. It was wearing a sock.
Will you be telling us any of the scandals? I do like them, especially if they are fictional. There are so many water coolers around that a good scandal never goes astray.
Do tell, pleasssssssssse. |

I'd consider moving back to the Gulf to take a fashion class from Dame Edna.
I actually saw 'her' show in Abu Dhabi...

Edna would be a good role model for the Emirati women. Edna's dress sense shines out as a beacon of hope in an ever darkening world.
Kath and Kim, too, would assist the Emiratis. Their savvy boardroom dealings should be used as a case study for every business course in operation. |

Forgot to ask you, Umm Banat, what are the scandals you referred to? |
