I figure this is the place to find people who would know... maybe not?
I'm trying to fiure out a way to get my credential/license OR maybe a master's WHILE teaching out of the country. Preferably a program where one pays for the other, or something of the sort.
I'd like to be teaching in Asia in August or September and would also love to be in a Master's or Credential program while teaching over there.
Any help appreciated.

There are some reputable distance MA programs (Leicester, Surrey, and Birmingham, England all offer these, and there are some good Australia-based ones as well). But as for someone to PAY for you to take them I think it's unlikely...
Maybe someone has some better ideas about how to go about getting your course paid for??!! |

in Poland where they advertise you can take your master's while teaching in-country. I see it advertised on one of the other sites from time to time. |

MA programmes are easy.
Licences are more difficult as you usually have to teach in that country for a year. HOWEVER, that being said, the Dept of Ed in NJ will give you a cert of eligibility, which means that you are certified to teach in public schools in NJ, but it's not a licence. In order to get a licence, you actually have to teach in NJ for a year. But maybe places will accept it. I'm at an international school right now.
I got my P3 and ESL cert of eligibility without stepping foot in the US, My Spanish one, I had to go back to take the praxis test |
