Hi,
I'm posting to this forum because I'm going to be a Language and Culture assistant in Madrid for 2007-2008, and I wanted to know if anyone has been in this program, or heard of it? And if so, what your experiences were. Since, I'm taking a certification course at UCI right now (which is in it's first year), and what I'm learning seems like it will be useful, but it is stressing me out a little bit.
The TEFL course I'm taking is teaching us how to teach adults, but in my assignment it looks like I'm going to be teaching 8 to 12 year olds. So I'd be really appreciative of any advice on teaching this age group, since I'm not learning how to teach to that age group AND I haven't worked with children before.
So anything addressing either of these questions would be great. Sorry for the long post! |

Hey all,
I was wondering if anybody has completed the program since.
I am thinking about it for next year and I'm just curious what people have to say!
Thanks! |

Yeah I heard about this program too. Did you go to the website and read what others thought about the program? On another board I heard good and bad things. But the bad was from a person who did the program in it's first year. Remember you get paid in Dollars and not Euros. That's the only downside.
I am thinking about applying next year. |
