Hello Everyone!

I am seriously considering a teaching position in China. Being this would be my first teaching position and extended time out of the states, I have some general concerns.

Do most schools have multiple foreign teachers?
Is there a better area in China to teach for first timers?
Are most of the teachers younger?
Is it better to consider shared housing if it is my first time living out of the country?

I appreciate any help anyone has to offer!
Thank you.

Look at the adds for the job that you are applying too. Rich cities have many of our lot. Poor places like where I work, I'm it. Low paid jobs will normally have new starters; meaning young staff.

Do you need to share? Only you can answer that. Some of us are self starters and some can't think at all and need help to think. The Net is full of stuff to use.
