Does anyone have any experience with a school called High Scope Indonesia located in Jakarta?

Thanks.

If you're a qualified, professional teacher, then I'd give it a wiide berth. If you have a BA and/or ESL certificate and just looking for a wage, then there are plenty of worse places around. The campus I know of is in Cilandak, opposite Town Square (CITOS) in south Jakarta. Students are mostly Indonesian, with some mixed Indo/western and others thrown into the mix. Salary was around Rp10 million a month last I heard. Could very well be more now.

Not sure about the school in Jakarta but i was lucky enough to spend a morning doing storytelling at HighScope Medan a while back..from a father and a teacher's perspective i was impressed with the cosy, fun and well-equipped playschool and the dedication and standard of English of the teachers (and that of the kids, too, who clearly loved going to school there!) I have considered sending our daughter there too..
..none of this guarantees the standards at other branches, though..good luck!

I know a local teacher that works there. She says it is 'a little bit strange' in terms of methodology but - at least for Indonesian staff - not a bad employer. Her main gripe was a complicated assessment and grading scheme but I didn't entirely understand what this was (so perhaps it is rather complicated!)
