Hello all,
Im relatively new to the forum and have been working in TEFL for almost 2 years. A couple friends and I are planning a move to Argentina, Cordoba in particular, within a month. We know this is a bit late in terms of the start of school, but financial constraints have made it unavoidable. We've chosen Cordoba because we've heard its an exciting young city thats cheaper and less touristy than BA. At the same time, these positive aspects also mean that the massive online and social TEFL networks of BA will not be at our disposal either when we arrive without jobs, friends, or an apt. Could anyone pass along any advice, contacts, or warnings? Im looking for info on the whole range, from housing to work to the best place to grab a cheap meal. Look forward to any and all responses!
