Hola,

I've been in Mexico for the past year teaching English ( classroom and privado ) as a volunteer. I don't have TEFL certification or a degree, but do have two years of college. I'm also an assistant coordinator for the English program where I teach. I've been studying Spanish for the past year and can speak, read, and write just enough to get by.

I'm interested in teaching English in Argentina or Chile and was wondering if my experience ( and lack of certification / degree ) would be enough to find work.

MOst importnat thing is that you�re a native speaker and have a BA. Experience is important as well. TEFL certs aren't that big of a deal here as far as getting a job. BUt it does help in the classroom.
