I have been searching around and found some teams, but their sites are all in Japanese. I will be moving to the Chiba area soon (Funabashi City) and really want to play again. Does anybody know of any teams or have a friend playing?

Thanks in advance,

I've met a few foreigners who play in adult ice hockey leagues here, as well as Japanese people who play in an adult American football league.
I have to imagine there are going to be some opportunities for you to play lacrosse if you're going to be living near Tokyo.

Here's an English page; maybe you can find some useful contacts through it:

Thanks SoR, I have tried emailing them in the past, but have gotten no reply. Just tried it again in Japanese, so hopefully that will work.

Markle, I know they have it for guys, just a matter of finding a team that wants a weigook-in (hmmmm...what is foreigner in Japanese?) Thanks though!

I was just ribbing, knew a guy back home that played and it was a usual way of getting him to raise to the bait.

For anyone that cares, I did find a team. It is out there if you're interested.

I've seen the odd child with a hockey bag and hockey stick (like 3 in my three years in Japan) but I've never seen anybody with a lacrosse stick!

Hasn't really become mainstream yet, and I think womens' lacrosse is more popular here, but I do know of some mens' Uninversity clubs around Tokyo.
