Are there schools in Japan that accept non-native English teachers?

Not schools exactly, more dispatch agencies that send teachers to schools.

I do notice that you are from India and while many Indians are in the IT sector here, Indian style education methods are trendy at the moment, so yoou may never know your luck.

As markle mentioned, a lot of the dispatch companies hire non-native English speakers. Interact probably the largest. They usually advertise on gaijinpot.com Good luck.

one of my coworkers is from italy.

his japanese is pretty excellent though and that was a plus for him getting hired. he also speaks 5 other languages so i think they saw him as a bit of a wunderkind.
