Hello all. I am an American teacher in Guangzhou, China. I hold a 2 year college degree from an American college. I am only lacking about a years worth of credits before I can get my BA.
I have looked into a few American online schools, but most are a big hit on my wallet. Returning to my home country for a year is something I would like to avoid.
I have been in talks with a Chinese University here. They will allow me to complete my BA for about 1/4 of the price of the cheapest online school. Would a Chinese degree be acceptable to Japanese immigration should I ever decide to give Japan a try?

Thanks
Jarod.

Impossible to say. The combination of an American passport and a Chinese degree might get you in. Depends in the immigration officer you get and whether he/she is a stickler for the rules. It's not hard and fast in Japan on this ime.
