I have taught in Korea and Taiwan only..
Things to consider:
People
Environment
Working conditions
Money
People in korea are more friendly and dont try to rip you off as much.
The environment in korea is more modern.. Taiwan looks a bit 3rd worldish.
Korean directors are less anal.. Also parents dont expect as much in korea so its a load off your shoulders..
Money in korea is better hands down.. Remember free airfare and rent and less tax..
Anybody disagree or agree or have there own comparisons???? |

Why don't you post this in the general forum instead of limiting yourself to Japan? |

Nice suggestion, Glenski.
auckies,
tell us more about Taiwan. Some details would be nice, please, OK?
Also, I guess I'm confused. Are you in Vancouver, or are you in Korea right now? What's your typical day of teaching like? How about your students, what are they like? Favorite learning activites, etc.
Regards, |
