Does anyone know of any good forums who encourage free advertising for teachers. Russian or English speaking sites, as it doesn't matter. In fact the Russian ones would attract beginners and non English parents.
I don't mind paying a little, but it's sometimes difficult to transfer money if you don't have a card.
I know a few, but it would be nice to hear of a few more. Busy popular ones please |

BELS -
The best adverts that I have ever found are former students that enjoyed your classes and learned from you. That is how it is done in Ufa, the tiny capital of Bashkortostan. Maybe in the mega city of Moscow it is done differently - I don't know!
Good luck!

Same here, but I'm talking about a lot of students, and fees won't be the cheapest. I mean students in groups for fulltime work in two classrooms, as my wife is also a self employed teacher. We need the wealthy families living in the western region of Moscow. We want to overbook ourselves
Also, Summer is coming and many will have a long break until September. So we need new ones intersted in Summer courses.
Come September we will have most of our original students back, plus their will be a new generation of fresh beginner groups.
One idea that has done me very well was to stick posters with tear-offs of your phone number. I live in a village, in the western region of Moscow, and that's where all my work is. |
