In Mexico too?! There sure is a universal dislike for emos
Quote: |
riot police were called after punk rockers hurled bottles at a pro-emo protest at the Insurgentes Traffic Circle.... The tension subsided after a group of Hare Krishnas marched through the traffic circle, apparently unaware of what was going on. |
That would have been a tremendous sight indeed |

That sums up DF pretty well...riot police battle suicidal emos, until a group of Hare Krishnas comes along for no reason, but they are held up in their march because AMLO protesters are trying to pull down a billboard for Chanel No. 5, to which several dozen Argentine edicanes are paying homage with candles, but are roundly boo-ed by Greenpeace anti-Japanese whalers stuck in traffic because of the gay pride parade.
Such is life in DF. |

... though hanging on the beach in Mazatln certainly has its charms. We don't have manifestaciones here in Sinaloa, but there are shoot-outs between the narcos and the Army now and then. |
