Hello,
Does anyone have updated info on Koc university? ELC - is it a nice place to work? Workload reasonable? Is on campus accommodation being given to new hires this Fall? Salaries? (I have heard about $2300 gross US month plus accommodation) -sound reasonable? What could a single save in a month in Istanbul on a salary like that? Is ramadam a big issue at Turkish unis like it is in the ME? (ie. exhausted students, shorter classes, etc,)
Is there a big staff turnover at Koc or do people tend to stay?
Is it a private uni? (Are private "better" than public?)
Do the top International Schools and places like Roberts College pay more than unis?
