Check out the URL above. It's from February of this year. It should at least give you an idea of the rates charged. How much to get from one end of Abu Dhabi to another? I can't answer.
I have leased in the UAE w/ smaller, locally-owned rental agencies. A tiny little Echo or the like could run as low as 1200/month (it might not be a new car) or as high as 2500 from what I've found recently w/ mainstream car rental places. Personally, having leased a car for 7-8 months at a time in the UAE, I would rather buy. My contract was ending, and I didn't want to get into the mess of a car loan. This is what prevented me from buying at the time. Also, that little Echo got blown all over the open road and this was when I wasn't being "bullied" by Nissan Patrols and other larger cars. For your own safety I would recommend a slightly bigger car. |
