Does anybody have any information on ITESM (specifically in Puebla)? Do they pay well? What are the requirements to work there? I have a BEd and teaching experience. What are the hours like? Any other suggestions of places to apply in the Puebla/Cholula area?
Thanks for your help!

Hello all,

I too am interested in ITESM, but in one of the other locations like Guadalajara or Morelia.

What could one with an MA in TESOL expect to get paid there? Do they provide any help with accommodation?

Thanks for any info,

b-boy

To teach the university students at ITESM you need to have a masters in a related field. (They also run high schools, and hire people with bachelor's degrees to teach at the high schools.) The pay is very good, but it varies from campus to campus due to the cost of living of each city. I haven't worked there myself, so I don't know if they help their teachers find housing. I do know people who have taught or are teaching at several of the different campuses. It seems that the working conditions vary quite a bit from campus to campus, there is only one constant--the students are spoiled rich kids and you have to deal with that. Some of the teachers I know have been very happy working there, others not I think if boils down to your personality and classroom management style more than anything else.

Best of luck,
