Dixie -- I've just got to say that the photo of your ferret in the pile of smiley-face balls is adorable. Jill |

Well, now I see this was already discussed in another thread that I hadn't read yet. |

I'm sure that dixie won't mind reading double compliments for her photography and her ferret! |

O-kay, the balloons are colourful and ferrets are kinda cute, albeit stinky and need to be bathed daily, fortunately they like baths, or at least the two that lived with me ever so briefly, liked baths.
But, I miss the dog. |

I've spent some time with dixie's ferrets and didn't think they were stinky at all - maybe she washes them with sweet-smelling ferret soap! |

Actually if you wash them they stink more. Their skin is naturally oily; no way to get rid of the smell. Is that right Dixie? |

Right on! The more you bathe, the more they stink! Although my old ferret use to love exploring the bathroom, and sneaking his way onto the counter top to eat...the bar of soap!
And thanks for the compliment! She is a funny thing. The balls were actually for Chela, as they float, and I thought they would be great for when she "swims" in the fountains. But we bought in bulk, and they turned out to be great for everyone...ferret included.
I guess I need to get a good one of the two dogs, and the ferret together so that I can please everyone!
Seriously, thanks for the nice words guys...a mama always likes to hear good things about her babies! |

They are...well they can be. Currently Coyuca has two boxes in her cage, taking up most of the bottom floor. Unlike my first ferret, she is not catching on that that is the place to go. |
