Lemesee. You are going to sit in a cubicle and make cold calls to sell somebody on buying a timeshare- all day.

You could do that in the states. What would be the point of going to Spain to spend your day in a cloth covered cubicle?

Whenever I used to get one of these calls (usually as I was sitting down to dinner) it was my practice to say it sounded like a wonderful idea ... Oh! excuse me! I think the preacher is coming up the steps. If the caller was still waiting on the line after 5-10 minutes, I would gently explain that he was a fool. They really hated being kept from bothering somebody else for 5-10 minutes.

But seriously, isn't that just the sort of thing one goes to Spain to get away from?

Good luck.

There was a scene in the old TV show Mash which might be apropos..

Ho-Jon the houseboy at "The Swamp" says, "California [Spain?] is a big place ... got to be a better job than this..."

Anyway, what has telesales to do with teaching? I mean *I* get offensive PM's for not being teacher enough because I am semi-retired and express opinions here. Can't imagine the petulant shrieks of outrage I would receive if I was a telemarketer.
