Hello,

I was wondering if anybody knows of any good online sites to meet people, like dating sites? (preferrably free ones) I am in a small town and it's hard to meet people the old-fashioned way so I've joined a couple of European dating sites but there's hardly anybody on them from Poland, let alone in/near my town.

I would imagine that unless you speak Polish, it's going to be rather difficult to use a dating site aimed at Poles because it's all going to be in Polish.

If it helps, I do know what you are going through: I spent six months in a very small Polish town (13,000 people) and that was back before the days of the internet. Back then it was almost impossible to even send a fax in that town because the telecommunications system was so bad. Making an international call required requesting an international line and then waiting up to three hours to get a line. When a line was finally available, three minutes of conversation with a person in the UK cost more than I earned in an hour of teaching! And there was no chance of getting a date because the only people in town roughly the same age as me (plus/minus five years) were all married.
