I recently saw an opportunity on another job board at this school. I am wondering what its current reputation is like now with foreign teachers?
Good, bad, or ugly?
Thanks. |

It's a big language factory.
And getting bigger.
I worked there for a year, and then found much better conditions, elsewhere.
VUS constantly pressures teachers to work enormous hours on Saturdays and Sundays.
The pressure is applied by telling teachers to work 10-hour Sundays or they'll have their hours cut, or not get other hours they want. And this is after a 7 hour Saturday.
Ten teaching hours in a single day is ridiculous.
It's all about filling seats.
If you have experience, you'll find much better.
You'll also find some dignity, which teachers at VUS do not have.
Check out saigonesl for more specific details. |
