Someone posted here to stay away from that colonia. BUT... I have been seeing lovely pictures of apartments there. And I had a student today, a professional Argentinian that I guess makes a pretty good living, tell me that he lives there and it is very nice.

So, comments?

Hey Leo,
Yeh there are a lot of large new apartment complexes going up around there. It probably depends on the area of Anzures you are looking at... I used to live in Nueva Anzures which is closer to Polanco, and it was a great location. Never had any problems with security living in a rented apartment there, and i was using public transport all the time, in the early morning and late evening.
The best thing about living around there is the proximity to the YMCA gym with swimming pools on the street called Ejercito Nacional!
Have been told that the area of Anzures closer to the Pemex buildings is not so safe.
Good luck with finding a place.

Hey Arora, thanks.
Can you give me some cross streets, so I get an idea as I look at a map, where I should look and where I shouldn't? I do work in Polanco; thats why I was hoping that area might be okay.

I am a single woman.

Thanks again.
