|
|
Hello everyone!
Has anyone heard of Vancouver International College in Guadalajara? It is located in the neighborhood Colonia Americana on Avenida Libertad.
I have never been to GDL!- but I hear its very nice.
Does anyone know anything about this neighborhood, Colonia Americana? or the school in general?
Is it near a subway?
What is the neighborhood like?- Are there bars, museums, restaurants, clubs, etc..things to do there?
Where is it in relation to the city center or downtown?
Any help would be much appreciated.
Thank you! |

Colonia Americana is a nice neighbourhood. It's part of what it's known as Zona Rosa, a district with some pubs and restaurants, it's also a residential area. Here you can check some pics, most of them were taken in that area. This neighbourhood is close to the historical district (let's say, about 45 mins walk)

The Vancouver Institute is relatively close to a subway station (Juarez). But there's a bus service known as Pre-Tren, that you can use to keep your journey towards the city's western side.

I cannot comment on The Vancouver Institute, apart from the fact that I have heard that, as employers, they are bit strict. Maybe someone else here can give you better insight into this.
