Well, the presence of her majesty the Queen in Ankara, means the British government is making it known that the UK's position is in favour of the membership of Turkey to EU.

The president's wife, Hayr�nnisa G�l, wore a hijab to greet Her Majesty, an act which ensured that military leaders boycotted a state banquet in Ankara on the first night of the visit.
It seems the Generals will not sleep well from now until their day of judgement! Ameen! Laughing
