Hello! I am looking for work as an EFL teacher/tutor in the Russian city of Rostov-on-Don starting in summer or September of next year. Can anyone suggest some well established schools in this city where I can work on a legal binding work permit and work visa?? Cannot find too many schools in this city online...
Please help if you can!!
Many thanks! |

Apart from Moscow,St Petes and a few other key cities such as Samara and occasionally in Siberia, there are very few Russian provincial firms which can either afford to pay or can even get permission to employ foreign teachers and this is no doubt why you have not found any in Rostov. In fact I can only ever remember one vacancy there being advertised during the last 10 years!
I presume you know the place and have friends there etc? |

I taught there six years ago and even then there were English Language Schools, such as, AKT (American Kultura Tourism), Cambridge School and another Russian school. Later, I heard, English First started a school there. |
