Does anyone know anything about the company or group TETL English Tutors Lmtd. I have run into shady and corrupted schools in the past, and definitely don't want to do it again.

I worked for them for 2 years and landed up working most of my hours through them. As far as institutes go, theyre really relaxed and a pleasure to work for. Even though they are small, they pay their teachers really well and as long as your students are happy with you, let you pretty much do your own thing.

I worked with them for over 2 years and am currently in Spain . I can highly recommend them. They are relaxed but proffesional and great to work for( and the pay is really good). In agreement with the above post they dont interfere with your classes as long as the students are happy, theres an atmosphere of mutual respect which I think is key to its smooth running.
I have a lot of happy memories of TETL!

Ive also worked for them and agree with the above posts. I would definitely work for them again.

I worked for them last year and can definitely recommend them. They may not be able to give you a full schedule, but are excellent for all those in between hours that you need filling. The pay is excellent (and always on time), the atmosphere is relaxed and they put themselves out to make you feel confident and prepared when it comes to the classes. You wont regret working for them.

Forgive my cynicism, but this post has a slight whiff of school advertising.

Or maybe it really is that great. Can't seem to find any hard information about the school though.

Fair enough. I'd be interested in learning more about them. Do they have a website you can lead me to? or contact information? Thanks!

I've been in Chile for a while and I've never heard of this school. Where is the office?

They have an office in Las Condes, but are an in house institute - i.e send the teachers to the students rather than vice versa.

Calling it an office is a stretch. Essentially, it's a couple who run the business out of their apartment, somewhat off the beaten path (at least in terms of public transport) in Las Condes. But the previous poster is correct; all the classes are at the clients' sites.

Hi, I work for them right now, and I love them! I have good students, mostly adults, and it has really helped me to fill out my schedule. I would recommend contacting them to see what is available. Dagney has been in Chile for 12 years, so she has a lot of connections.
