I'm considering applying to schools in warsaw for september. Does anybody know which school has a more younger teaching staff? Or are all schools really a mixed bag, mainly 28-40??

Young is 21 btw Smile

thanks

Would you be satisfied with 'more younger' or are you trying to go all the way and find the most youngest?

I knew of a school in Gdansk where the owner was a 19-year old girl (she'd been given it by her father).

Why do the teaching staff have to be 'younger?'

I've never met an English teacher in Poland who was younger than mid-twenties.

Look for an English school that has more younger learners and you tend to find more younger teachers.

Guys and gals pushing 50 usually dont enjoy chasing little Poles around a classroom.

thinking about age of the staff in terms of future social life, i.e. going to night clubs/bars etc. I'm sure that as people get older they become less and less intersted in undertaking these activities!

so really any info on which schools people have most enjoyed would also be helpful!

Archibald has a big staff, lots of Natives mid twenties and up. They also organise a good deal of social activities for the teachers i.e. integration parties in clubs. Also lots of workshops and whatnot. They claim to be one of the better school in the city so it may be hard to get a job.

The school I teach at has a teacher aged 22 and I myself am 21. There's also an English teacher at my sister's school that's 19.

Young teachers are around, but you generally won't find too many in a single place.

So you're looking for a school that employs lots of people highly focused on partying?

I wouldn't mention this at any job interviews Shocked

Don't worry about the social lives of your fellow teachers, you probably won't end up hanging out with them much anyway. You'll meet people outside of work, which is a good thing--ya know, keep some distance between work and play. If you're new to TEFL, your first concern is getting a decent job.
