| it is too low. generally, i think it should be anywhere between RMB100-200/hour depending on various factors (what are you teaching them, who are the students? do you need to travel to them or vice versa etc...) |

| 250RMB per hour. I don't seek extra work. It finds me through my university, and they know that's my standing rate. It nets some nice one-off, 3 and 4 hour consultation opportunities, speech contest judging and pre-CET exam tutoring (not with students from my university though. It has always been a relative of a professor or administrator). |
