Hi everyone,
I'll be having my WinBe interview on Sunday- they called me really late last Sunday night. That doesn't look great. Anyway, has anyone ever worked with Teach Away or with RCS? I have an interview with RCS on Tuesday and I'll most likely have an interview with Teach Away next weekend. |

I worked for RCS for a year several years ago. They may not be the worst dispatcher around (i.e. they aren't too nasty with it), but they went through at least one rough patch where they seemed to be having financial difficulties, which affected the amount that they were able to pay their AETs. Don't work for them unless you think you'll be able to manage on potentially as little as 100,000 yen some months (much will depend on if you have to borrow from them, but pro-rated pay lagging a month behind will probably make this unavoidable). Even Borderstink (Borderlink - boo hiss) took better care of its AETs from the standpoint of enabling, in comparison, quite "generous" automated advances (via UFC's 'Sokubarai' sevice - you'd be able to cash in the following Wednesday on timesheets submitted the previous Friday, compared to the begging faxes and calls you'd have to make to RCS).
Do a search for keyword 'RCS', author 'fluffyhamster' for more. |

RCS gets lots of bad press on other forums. The problem is, forums delete negative posts about companies when they mention names because the companies provide advertising money. |
