I've bought my ticket so no turning back! Ive got two weeks to figure out how to teach the subjunctive - were it only possible!

I'm landing at what looks like a reasonable hostal (minus the 4 hour daily lockout - may have to sleep clothed, in the shower) and am told by the hostal manager/propriador that getting rooms/ appts is easy as torta.

I'm a leeeeeetle leary of appt sharing, and yet, so cheaaaaaaap!

So, what am I driving at -

A) Any thoughts on the process of getting settled (rooms vs privates, long/short term leases, what to seek what to avoid)?

B) If any one reading this is looking to share after June 20, let me know. You can pm me if you like. No smoke no drugs, some drink but always discreetly, shed when brushed too vigorously.
