Why would anything related to the procedures of the organization be left for the instructor to find out? Anything related to the daily responsibilities, and typical school rules/procedures should be told to the instructor up front. Better yet, they should also be provided with a manual for later reference.

It also wouldn�t hurt to ask the new/returning instructors to write down questions that they have about procedures, and the like, and give them at least 2 days to compile such a list before the orientation begins.

Everything at my current job was learned on the go, and the information was given to me by my coordinator. I was lucky in that she is a great person, and well informed. If she wasn�t, I could have really floundered.
