It's a bit off topic but I couldn't help creasing up with laughter as Austria equalised in the 91st minute last night....Poland is the most nationalistic country I've ever lived in and the thought of all those 'Karks' crying in their beer evokes warm feelings inside.

This Polish team have a Brazilian up front and still can't score more than 1, and their defence is simply awful. By far the most boring team to watch at the Euros. A few years ago they tried a Nigerian up front. Maybe there wouldn't be any hooligans in Poland if what was going on on the pitch was anything to focus on.

Now before the usual U.S. 'upstarts' mention the fact that England failed to qualify I'll just say that England right now are also shite, despite having a starting line up that could include 9 players from the recent Champions' League final. In England we have the talent but largely lack the desire and tournament mentality. We also lack a world class diving team unlike most outfits from the Latin half of Europe. Now we have Capello, things will change.

I personally would play 4-3-3. Cole, Terry, Ferdinand, Hargreaves across the back, Carrick (centre), Gerrard (right), Lampard (left), across the middle with Rooney (left), Defoe (centre) and Walcott (right). As a Portsmouth fan I'd also have England's number one (England's England's number one) between the sticks....David James. England are too predictable with 4-4-2 and a big man up front. Also I'd rather loose 3-2 than watch the recent boring teams that Maclaren and Erikson (in his later days) churned out. Long ball to Crouch my **se.

Sorry, but everyone is 100% correct in screaming "sedzie to chuj' or even better, 'Jebac sedziego, i rodzina jego'.

You gotta be blind to not have seen that the first German goal was offsides, or that the Austrian penalty kick was pure favoritism... disgusting.

I've lived in Portsmouth since 1978.

Go to Fortress Fratton when I'm home.......last game I went to was the 7-4 thriller against Reading at the beginning of the season...been abroad since.

Nationality is blinding you. Sorry, but it was a clear penalty decision and if you want to blame someone blame Lewandowski, not the ref. Agree with you about Podolski's first though.

What's disappointing is that the team that completely outclassed Portugal a year ago with vibrant attacking football seems to be totally absent at the Euros. What happened? It can't be all down to Blaszczykowski. Another Polish anticlimax at a major finals.

At least you go into the last game with a smidgeon of hope, unlike Greece and Switzerland.

Do you think Owen will ever return to his form? Injuries aside if we even gets back to 90% of where he once was I think you need to start him.....although certainly would have him coming off the bench at this point.

In watching the England - US friendly it became clear that the US is pretty mediocre and I thought England lacked some creativity without Joe Cole starting in midfield (brought on as a sub if I remember correctly). Defoe looks pretty dangerous at times but man he missed a lot of chances....don't they need to play Bentley more to feel him out on the national level? He seems like the next Beckham.

Oh for f*cks sake Rolling Eyes

Three soldiers kidnapped by the Iraqis, Englishman, Scotsman and a Welshman.

"You all have one final request, before I shoot you" says Iraqi.

Scotsman says, "I'd like 'Flower of Scotland' played at full volume for one hour before I die."

Ok says Iraqi.

Welshman says, "I'd like 'Men of Harlech' played at full volume for one hour before I die"

OK says Iraqi.

"What would you like, Englishman?" Says Iraqi,

"F*cking shoot me first"
