I've been offered a position at NUFE, but it looks like I'll be in the Xianlin campus, which I've read is in the sticks. Is there anything anyone can tell me to assuage my fears that I'll be sequestered in the countryside?
Also: Does anyone have any suggestions on how to find flights to China? |

You could request to live in the central campus and then commute to the Xianlin campus daily. Might be a pain, but the other option is to live in the middle of nowhere and pay 100RMB for a taxi. The buses finish at 7pm. Also I thought this university only offered 3200RMB per month. Why the heck did you accept this offer? |

I think I'll just stay on the Xianlin campus. And they're offering 4000RMB. |

Which is criminally low for Nanjing, and I turned down an offer from that school for 5K a month (which was also criminally low for Nanjing, and your offer at 4K should set off warning signs). |
