| Does Taiwan require people entering the country as teachers to prove they have medical insurance in order to get a Visa? I know the schools enroll you after you are hired in the National Health Care Plan. |

| It might be a good idea to have some travel health insurance for a few months in case you get sick before your school gets you set up on the National Health care plan. Just another option to keep yourself protected. |
