My flight back into Torreon (without having found any good leads on employment, before getting married--obviously i'm a genius) goes from Oakland to Leon to Mexico to Torreon.

But... I'll be stuck in Mexico City for 9 hours waiting for my next plane. Assuming EVERYTHING is on time, what should I do? Anything going on in the DF? Someone want to get a beer?

I'm there tomorrow from 9 to 6 more or less, so I figure i've got at least four or five hours I can kill.

You just got a PM from me...give me a call. 9 hours is of course about several hundred hours of something to do in DF, but I'm free, so I'm happy to get a beer with you downtown, at the very least.

Having a snack or drink with another TEFLer sure beats my experience on a Sunday morning in the DF airport. I tried to find an internet cafe (after all, the airport in dinky little El Salvador had one!), and could only find one in a five star airport hotel for something like 150 pesos per hour. Then a scammer tried to hit me up for a loan. He was dressed in a suit, did not look thick-necked enough to be from that certain Nigerian tribe, etc., and claimed to be a church pastor in the USA. But after spending nights in airports in London, Caracas, Moscow, etc., Mexico City would not be too bad.
